I show one of the ten best sightseeing spot by visitor.
The 10th is kiyomizudera in Kyoto.
kiyomizudera is old temple since 1633.
General Iemitsu Tokugawa at that time built Kiyomizudera, is famous for the Kiyomizudera Balcony.
The view is beautiful!
There is a proverb "Kiyomizu no butai kara tobioriru" in Japan.
In English, jump from Balcony of Kiyomizudera.
The meaning is to make a leap into the dark, to take the plunge, to jump in at the deep end.

What a beautiful temple, and the surrounding scenery just adds to the effect. There is a lovely little street leading up to the temple, with little shops lining either side selling local food and souvenirs. The temple is very impressive and definitely worth a visit if you are in Kyoto.
